School, My Mission Ground

How's sch every1? haha.. finally all ur sins hav caught up with u! All those times in the holidays where you have been slacking!!!Just wanna challenge us to continue to be desperate to see souls saved. Remember how you felt at Camp Accelerate? and at Christmas? Pray that it won't be a one time thing.

Imagine if we are so desperate for souls each day, how would God use us! He has poured out so much when we were desperate for only 1-2 weeks..How much more everyday!!

Charles H. Spurgeon, the great Preacher said this in lectures to Pastors-to-be, that we should be so desperate for souls that we will 'BEG' them to become a believer, not just to talk to them about Jesus, but BEG!

The Apostle Paul echoed the same desperation when he said, ' I have become all things to all men, that i may BY ALL MEANS SAVE SOME.' 1 Cor 9:22. He was willing to do everything just to see that few being saved!

I pray that in 2006, we will constantly be desperate for souls. Can we all spend just 10 minutes each day to pray for them with the intensity that we did for Accelerate and Christmas?? If we do that, RIOT2 will soon have to multiply. Excited?? Let's do it together!!!

Last day of hols, First day of school

hello rioters.. tmr is the start of your school term, do have a good rest and sleep well. Do not stay up too late on msn or on the internet surfing away.... May God continue to strengthen each of you when u return back to school :D! Be excited and challenged to share with more of your friends when u return to school. Good night...

2006 - Build God a house

In 2006, let's build a house for the Lord. Here are the pointers for the sermon:

Building a House for the King

If you want to build a house for the King,
1. you must have the correct motives
2.the house must be designed by the King Himself
3.you must give sacrificially
4.build a house of worship - a daily thing
5.we must be united

It's exciting when God's glory comes and sits in our hearts. Imagine our frens getting convicted of sin just by our presence because of God's tangible glory sitting on us. CooL!!!!!

haha.. Anw, this yr, Clarence, William and Eva, be prepared to lead LG worship. Clarence will be also put on guitar. =)

And do take care of our new comers, we have 5 of them: JianBin, Natassia, Alicia, Daniel and Beatrice.

Next week we'll try to take a group photo..=)

So let's all work hard for 2006 to build God a worthy house!

Hello Rioters

Hello rioters.. It's time that all of us should take some time to sit down and reflect and ponder about what God has done in our lives. I pray that we'll truly thank God for all things and come before Him with a heart of gradtitude :D As we cross into 2006, i pray that we'll no longer walk in our own ways, but we'll be geared up to do exciting things for God ya. Did anyone of you prepare testimony to share with the church on sundays? If you do have testimony that you wanna encourage others with, i do challenge u to share them. Prepare and come on sundays to share. January will be the month of thanksgiving :D... ok rioters.. are we ready to enter into the new year? I am EXCITED.. how about you? may we continue to march towards God's heartbeat. Your new lg leader.. gloria... Happy New Year rioters!!

The END...

It's the end of the yr, and the beginning of another. At least we have a blog.=) All thnks to Clarence ( the rest of your reward is in heaven). Time to be retrospective again, and look back and go think wad God has done for you and that you've achieved wad you wanted this yr. It's a gd time to think if u haven't bn..
Know all of you will go to countdown at some1 else's house. haha. It's unavoidable. If you're reading this on 31/12/05, then pls come for svc tmr. It'll be at 1030 am. Let's celebrate together with the church and welcome the new yr.

Our First Post

Finally, we have our own blog.. From here we can learn about what's happening in the LG and also to read what God has been doing in our lives.
Amazing what He has done at Christmas '05. Now we have about 5 more new ones in our midst. We pray that you'll feeeeeeeel welcome and enjoy our friendship.
It's the last week of the school holidays...*sob* No more time to slack around and watch tv, spend endless hours on MSN. Cling onto God! Use the remaining time to build up your spiritual walk with Him!!
I do hope all of you enjoy your books and continue to read them! Edwin has already finished his! so if you want to trade you can...............!!
